「臺灣有南島外交嗎？（Is There Such Thing As Austronesian Diplomacy）」國發所Democracy and Democratisation in East and South Asia課程於4月23日邀請英國學者 Niki Alsford教授，針對臺灣南島外交及其影響進行演講，由授課老師魏玫娟主持。 Alsford為本校社科院亞太研究英語碩士學位學程（International Master’s Program in Asia-Pacific Studies, IMAS）前身臺灣研究英語碩士學位學程（International Master’s Program in Taiwan Studies）校友，此行應社科院之邀返校參與多項活動，並受邀至本所進行課程講座。Alsford現為英國中央蘭開夏大學亞太研究所（Institute for the Studies of Asia-Pacific, University of Central Lancashire, United Kingdom）教授兼所長，為臺灣與南島研究專家。 新聞連結：https://www.nccu.edu.tw/p/406-1000-19520,r17.php?Lang=zh-tw
